Know Your Body Growing

We all have the age where we start growing finding difference & changes happening around us and within. So let's talk about this which we see but rather be scared to tell to others and our parents to, let me kick start this topic with a story of a girl named Radha. There was a middle class family, parents and two kids Radha(14years old) & Rakesh(12years old). They were leading a happy life where kids use to daily go out to play in evening with their friends, but one day when they came out to play, but Radha was seating in a chair, friends and his brother came to her and asked "What Happened Radha?", she replied I am not feeling good and after this conversation she and his brother went back to home, both went to a room. His brother called his mom and Radha said I am having a severe pain in my lower stomach, her mom tells her that you are grown up now, mom told Radha you will shed blood and it's very normal, happy about you start using cotton cloth or sanitary pad. But Radha didn't understand that clear, mom provided good dinner, with desert. Her mom told if you are not comfortable you can take a leave from school, but his brother was all thinking why was dinner so good, parents happy and dessert. Next Radha went to school & parents where happy to know that, but she wanted to go to school because she was to close to her science teacher Miss Marry, because she use to talk about life experiences. Radha went to her and asked about her problem she told it's very natural and good and before she stared to explain bell rang and she went. But next day when Miss Marry came to class she stared the chapter Human Body, she explained all about physical changes, hair growth, voice change. Then she tells about Menstruation is process when blood comes out of the body for about 3 to 7 days. It happens every month. It started from the age of 12 -14 and lasts till age of 45 to 50. This is the process when body prepares itself to grow and then have capacity to carry a baby. Because only women can carry a baby, this process only happens to women/girls, Once the menstruation gets over in one month, it takes 28-35 days to happen in the next month. Every girl should keep track of the date on which they will be having menstruation. .She also tells about what can be used at that time, we can use clean cotton cloth designed properly, which can be reused and washed in a bucket using detergent and any sanitize liquid like dettol, to keep it clean. Sanitary pads which can't be reused and thrown only using a newspaper in your dustbin, they are made with the layering of plastic in it which is not that good. But for instant and this fast life we rather use sanitary pads.
